3ds max blueprint problem, plz help

Hi guys. I have a prob.
I'm beginner in 3ds MAX at all, and i downloaded this 3ds MAX 2012, im very intrested in it, made couple of wheels, done with some tutorials.
Yet i want to make a car with the ''blueprints'' but i am getting a problem. I make everything step by step, in the tutorial. Seen and tried lots of times and i get the same problem. As usual i make a plane, transform to the right size ant when i make my JPEG blueprint of a car as a material and i apply it to the plane my JPEG isnt shown on a plane. Tried with several blueprints, any ideas? And there is no such thing as Smooth + Highlights View selection. Any help would be grateful. http://youtu.be/r-G9rJfpsyg

check this >>> viewtopic.php?f=5&t=41 . I posted there something.check if that button is pressed. I saw the vid and its strange . did you tried to reinstall max ? If you are using dx10 , switch to dx9 . Its very strange that the blueprint are not assigned on the plane. Did you tried to unwrap the plane ?

try to switch to the Direct3D or OpenGL. This may solve the problem

Changing to Direct3D made everytihng event worse, couldn't make JPEG to load, somithing with the memory error.
Changing to OpenGL, solved the problem, thank you very much!
