Hy there,please give us some wire because I think that you have some problems....and when you are making a render try to add some lights so we can see certain corners and o ther details....The car looks ok,but i have indentified some problems :)

i can see some bumps on the body . Check to see if you have some triangles there . Or maybe you have too many small polygons in those areas

Do I need to have the car smoothed before I apply the wireframe ?For instance, if I used a turbo smooth do I need to have it set to 1 or 2 iterations?

its better if you will show a wireframe without a smooth modifier. A normal wireframe. Like this we can see where is the problem of those bumps and we can help you to solve it

here you have something that you shouldn't have . Try to avoid triangles on the mesh and try to make a smooth shape. We know that later we will apply a smooth modifier but it will not smooth the entire mesh if we didn't cared a little bit. And for the fog lights, try to add some edges around them and make a smooth rounded shape .

Please,try to make the photos very clear,what i mean is that you should make the pictures more detailet,i can't see anything :|
